Meet our Judges from last year!

Alex Gimenez
Atlanta, GA - Alex has celebrated a career in international sales and marketing with Fortune 500 companies including Pioneer Electronics, Apple Computer, Monster Cable and the Home Depot. He is currently a National Manager for Chep Pallet Pooling Systems. His extensive corporate experience includes numerous product launches in Latin America and online marketing, ranging from live news programming broadcasts on the internet to specialized product web sites for partners such as Amazon.com. He has also enjoyed the world of pageantry, having served as a judge in the past. A native of Miami and an honors graduate of Florida International University, Alex is the father of two teenagers.
Marijo Reed
Delafield, WI – As the owner of an interior design and events coordinating firm, Marijo often travels the country to find the perfect fabric, furniture and art for her clients. Her creativity was fostered at Mt. Mary College in Milwaukee where, as a design major, she saw many ways to take advantage of her artistic curiosity. As a model, she can be seen in TV commercials and print pieces. She appears in the movie Fred Claus, which is out this month, and the new, yet to be released, Batman movie. Marijo has been involved in Pageantry for 15 years as an image consultant, production coordinator, and a judge. She has judged 9 states and truly believes pageants can help young women develop strong communication and presentation skills.
Cal Tindal
Los Angeles, CA - Cal Tindal is the Vice President of Motion Picture Production Resources for Walt Disney Pictures. He oversees all aspects of product placement for Disney and Touchstone films and has worked on more than 75 movies including Ladder 49, The Rookie, Freaky Friday, The Sixth Sense and National Treasure. A former runway and calendar model, Cal still enjoys working as a commercial actor. His interests include traveling, writing, poetry, golf and baseball. Cal has previously served on Miss Teen USA and Miss USA state pageant judging panels and is pleased to add Pennsylvania to that list!
Kimberly Lawrence
Cincinnati, OH - Aisha is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an Associate’s degree in Pre-business Administration. No stranger to pageantry, she won the title of Miss Ohio USA 2005 and competed in the 2005 Miss USA pageant that was aired live on NBC. Currently working as a commercial, runway, print, in-store, and cover model, as well as a runway instructor, Aisha has modeled for various designers and stores including Dennis Basso, Badgley Mischka, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Aisha’s most recent works include hosting a television show.
Kevin Moran
Atlanta, GA - As President of Colonial Shoe Company, Kevin Moran designs and manufactures the leading brand of pageant footwear, Frederico Leone. A native of New York with a degree in business marketing, Kevin has over 25 years in the fashion industry. Now residing in Atlanta, he has been involved with sponsoring and judging state and national pageants for several years now. Kevin is also a conceptual artist and business consultant, and is very proud of the fact that he is a past recipient of Pageantry Magazine’s coveted Spirit Award.
Lindsay Douglas
Los Angeles, CA - Lindsay was Miss Kansas USA 2002 and became the 1st runner up in the nationally televised Miss USA Pageant all while attending the University of Kansas. Graduating with a degree in Communications and a minor in English, Lindsay went on to work at ESPN radio in Kansas City and ultimately moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television hosting and sports broadcasting. She can currently be seen on Sports Div TV and recently filmed a sports pilot for Intermix media called “Instant She Play” where she and her female co-hosts discuss the latest topics in sports with professional athletes. Lindsay has starred in several movies and is currently on pre-production for the screenplay she wrote about basketball, in which she will star in as well.
Herb Tate, Jr.

Frankfort, IL - President of HHT Energy Consulting Services, providing consultation to companies in the electric and natural gas industries. He was a member of New Jersey Governor Christie Todd Whitman’s Cabinet, as President of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and a Sub-cabinet member with President George H.W. Bush’s Administration as the Assistant Administrator of Enforcement with the United States EPA. Mr. Tate is an attorney and serves as a Trustee and Board Member on such non-profit organizations as the North West Indiana Symphony Orchestra in Munster and the Frost Valley YMCA, in upstate New York, serving nearly 30,000 boys and girls from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Mr. Tate is a graduate of Wesleyan University, in Middletown Connecticut, and Rutgers Law School in New Jersey.
