Elizabeth is a 24 year-old graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California with a degree in Merchandise Marketing. Capitalizing on her experience at FIDM, she entered the bridal industry where she worked as a bridal stylist. Elizabeth also models frequently and has been able to travel across the country for different clients.
Elizabeth was adopted as a baby and is fortunate to have a wonderful, loving family as the outcome. As a result of her situation, it is her goal to educate and promote awareness for other families to “get involved” with foster children. She is proud to work with the Genesis Foundation of Pittsburgh Adoption Service Agency, an organization that focuses on helping pregnant women and foster children that are in crises.
She enjoys Pilates, yoga, hiking, and horseback riding and hopes to own her own bridal and evening gown salon. In the future, she would really love to style brides for their big day and work with women preparing for big events.
Elizabeth is a trustworthy, responsible, and confident individual who is secure with herself. She loves meeting new people and hearing their stories. She seems to have an instant connection with the people that she meets. Elizabeth has a strong work ethic with a dedication of seeing tasks through to the end.
A couple of interesting facts about Miss Pennsylvania USA 2015 are:
1. Giant Pandas are her favorite animal. Liz frequently watches the live “Panda Cam” from the National Zoo. She also donates monthly to the ‘WWF Fund.
2. She loves to read historical biographies, particularly about French monarchs from the 1800’s.
Elizabeth Cardillo will represent Pennsylvania as she competes in the 2015 Miss USA pageant that will be seen LIVE from Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday, July 12th at 8/7c on NBC. The show will be held at The Baton Rouge River Center.
Should Elizabeth win the Miss USA Pageant, she would immediately fly from Baton Rouge to New York City to move into her new NYC apartment next to Central Park where she would live with Paulina Vega, Miss Universe 2014. As Miss USA she would travel the country working to raise awareness and funds for breast and ovarian cancer research with organizations that are champions in the fight against these diseases. Later in the year she would represent the USA in the Miss Universe Pageant.
