MISS PENNSYLVANIA USA® 2016
Elena LaQuatra is the daughter of Effie and Paul LaQuatra of Pittsburgh. She is a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and Point Park University and is currently an entertainment reporter for WTAE in Pittsburgh.
She enjoys playing with her Chihuahuas Miki and Taco, traveling internationally, adventurous snorkeling, hiking in exotic locations, playing the drum set, dance and choreography, and memorizing Shakespeare.
Elena is most proud of pushing the boundaries associated with deafness to accomplish the goals she has set in her life, including recently landing a job as an entertainment reporter for WTAE.
Crowned by Elizabeth Cardillo MISS PENNSYLVANIA USA® 2015, Elena represented Pennsylvania at the 2016 MISS USA® Pageant.

Finalists: Fourth Runner up – Jodelis Diaz of Philadelphia, Third Runner up – Antonia Gore of Philadelphia, Second Runner up – Krystal Gregorio of Philadelphia, and First Runner up – Cassandra Angst of Philadelphia.
Elena LaQuatra was selected Miss Photogenic and Georgia Kantner was voted Miss Congeniality.
